QuadraMed Awarded Two New MPI Clean-up Services Contracts
PLANO, TX—QuadraMed Patient Identity Solutions, a division of Harris Healthcare, today announced it has been awarded two competitive contracts for its Master Patient Index (MPI) Clean-Up services by Skagit Regional Health, Mount Vernon, Washington, and San Joaquin General Hospital, French Camp, California. Preliminary work has already begun on both projects by the QuadraMed clean-up services team at its centralized operations center in Plano, Texas.
“The value and tight data security QuadraMed offers clients played a significant role in our winning the competition for these contracts,” said Mike Tardif, EVP, Patient Identity Solutions at QuadraMed. “Patient data integrity is a critical component of both quality care and safety by ensuring clinicians have one complete and correct medical record for each patient seeking care throughout the enterprise.”
Skagit Regional Health includes the 137-bed Skagit Valley Hospital and its 11 clinics, as well as Cascade Valley Hospital and Clinics, headquartered in Arlington, Washington. After QuadraMed completes the clean-up project, the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system will be deployed.
San Joaquin General Hospital is licensed for 181 beds, and also operates a clinic in Stockton, California. It is in the process of implementing the Cerner EMR.
