Catholic Health Initiatives Selects QuadraMed to Provide Nationwide Master Person Index (MPI) Services
$ 5.8 million investment will help establish a unique patient identifier across all 86 CHI hospitals
TORONTO, ONTARIO – June 21, 2013 – N. Harris Computer Corporation (“Harris”), a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc. (“Constellation”) (TSX:CSU) is pleased to announce that Catholic Health Initiatives has selected QuadraMed Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Harris, to provide Enterprise Master Person Index data consolidation and cleanup services for its healthcare system. Catholic Health Initiatives is a national nonprofit health system operating in 18 states, and is the third largest faith-based health system in the U.S.
CHI selected QuadraMed as part of its nationwide strategy to establish a unique identifier for patients across all 86 of its hospitals. QuadraMed’s Enterprise Master Person Index technology— particularly its EMPI cleanup services—will be used to provide the critical MPI data consolidation services CHI requires to accomplish this goal.
