Meaningful Use

What is Meaningful Use?

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) offers financial incentives to healthcare providers who can demonstrate the “meaningful use” of certified EHR technology. Certified EHR technology must be able to exchange healthcare information electronically to improve quality of care. Providers also must use the EHR to submit clinical quality measures and other information to the Secretary of Health & Human Services.

Meeting the Challenge of Meaningful Use

Are you concerned about achieving meaningful use to qualify for financial incentives? You are not alone. With QCPR, our ONC-ATCB Certified EHR solution, we developed assessments, reports, and service packages to help you meet this challenge.

Meaningful Use Readiness Assessment

Our Meaningful Use Readiness Assessment provides guidance to help you successfully plan for meaningful use requirements. You can use this assessment to develop your strategic short- and long-term meaningful use goals and identify any existing gaps in meeting the core set of objectives.

CMS Quality Measures Configuration and Report Package

Based on our recommended configuration for QCPR, the CMS Quality Measures Configuration and Report package enables your organization to report on CMS quality measures. Benefits include:

  • Exchange clinical information between facilities and care providers (interoperability)
  • Capture principal diagnosis
  • Capture discrete data
  • Code, edit, and validate discrete data in real-time

Attestation Configuration and Reports

Our attestation reports enable you to successfully demonstrate meaningful use of QCPR. The reports include configuration guidelines and optional custom consulting to support meaningful use requirements.
