  • Criteria Evaluation Engine (CEE) - A real-time tool that allows the enterprise to determine the conditions it wants to monitor and what action to take.
  • Critical Value Processing - Ensures that a responsible provider is alerted to life threatening patient data.
  • Delta Checking - Each time results are documented for a procedure, the system compares the new value entered for a patient with the last value obtained for the same test/procedure and patient.
  • Absurdity Checking (or limit checking) - Used to verify that the entered values are within the physiologic ranges compatible with life.
