This feature of the AcuityPlus Solution enables the determination of complexity, a measure of the patient's need for professional nursing care. It provides the information necessary to move beyond the traditional method of recommending skill mix based on acuity, the amount of care required, to skill mix based upon complexity, the type of care required.
