ICD-10 Coding Simulator
Get a guided tour of coding in ICD-10 with our online ICD-10 Coding Simulator. In this powerful learning tool, coders can pace themselves as they follow an animated avatar instructor through the process of coding in ICD-10. You’ll have access to the Countdown to ICD-10 tutorial, which uses Quantim® for coding. The avatar instructor will present a case and a discharge summary and then walk coders step-by-step through the different resources needed in Quantim, such as the ICD-10 CM and PCS books, in order to build the correct code.
Plus, after viewing a discharge summary, coders will be presented with a short quiz with multiple answers designed to test the coder’s medical terminology in that case. If they choose incorrectly, they will receive immediate feedback and still need to complete a new question correctly as well as the one they missed, reinforcing the knowledge.
