QCPR Disaster Recovery Option
The QCPR Disaster Recovery Option is a prerequisite and is installed on a QCPR Report Server The QCPR Disaster Recovery option provides a copy of a QCPR Production System database and all application code that can be manually started to run as a fully functional replacement Production System in the event of some kind of disaster that compromises the normal Production System.
The QCPR Report Server on which the Disaster Recovery Option runs provides a disaster Recovery Point of Objective of as little as several seconds, depending on the performance and quality of the customer-provided network that connects the Report Server System with the Production System.
The time required to activate the DR system as a Production System is typically less than ten minutes. We recommend that customers plan for a two-hour Recovery Time Objective to allow for human decisions and quality control before allowing end users to access the restored services.
