SmartID prevents patient identity errors, reduces duplicate records, and increases patient safety by bringing advanced probabilistic matching tools to the patient record search and selection process. Results are sorted based on the likelihood that records match and presented in a ranked and color-coded display, so that you only need to review the top choices and select the correct patient record. SmartID ensures that Registration and Scheduling staff members select the right patient record, every time. SmartID also works with SmartSwipe, our card reader technology, to further streamline the patient registration process.
